It was only yesterday when an android-like autocorrection bar in the iOS 5 keyboard was discovered and we showed you a guide to do it by editing some plist files. Today, we’ve got something much easier for normal users to enable the hidden autocorrection bar in iOS 5, a jailbreak tweak.
A new jailbreak tweak named AutocorrectionBar developed by the well-known developer Ryan Petrich which allows you to easily enable the hidden autocorrection bar in iOS 5 that is similar to the Android’s one.
This autocorrection bar will change the method by which iOS 5 displays the autocorrect alternative words since 2007. It will bring new way to correct your words and even adds a button for accessing action methods (select, paste, etc.).
You can install the tweak by jailbreaking your device on iOS 5 (follow the guide here) or iOS 5.0.1 (guide here) then open Cydia and search for “AutocorrectionBar”. Hit the install button then tap on Settings, AutocorrectionBar and change it to ON.
Do you like it or you prefer the old one? Share us your thoughts in the comments section below.
